Welcome and peace be with you! I believe that every human being is wonderfully and uniquely made. It is my honor to accompany clients on their journey to wholeness and healing of all parts of themselves.

My name is Richard Kubena and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at the Goretti Center for Healing and Forgiveness. I am finishing my graduate studies at Divine Mercy University and I am simultaneously working towards becoming a Certified Traumatologist with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. Before pursuing a Master’s Degree, I worked for 10 years as a Substance Abuse Counselor. My education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling has a special focus on the integration of theoretical approaches, with the goal of treating the whole person. This includes being attentive to the interconnections between a person’s physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
